2020 Results: Cardif Lux Vie working hard for its clients and partners
13.04.2021In conditions dominated by the health crisis, Cardif Lux Vie demonstrated the resilience of its business model, collecting EUR 1.8 billion in premiums (-18% vs. 2019). The company generated net income* of EUR 39.1 million (+2.6% vs. 2019). Assets under management were stable at EUR 28.0 billion (+0.4%).

New tax on securities accounts in Belgium
09.03.2021The Belgian government recently had the law introducing an annual tax on securities accounts approved by the parliament. This law was published in the Belgian State Gazette on February 25th of this year; it entered into force the day after its publication, with the exception of the anti-abuse provisions (see below) which apply retrospectively from October 30th, 2020.

The Circular only covers the Walloon Region and the Brussels-Capital Region and applies to all deaths that have occurred since September 1st, 2018.

13.04.2020Per December 31st, 2019 Cardif Lux Vie recorded a very strong increase in its assets under management, which totalled €27.9 billion (+22.1% increase on 2018 performance). The Company’s net profit before tax amounted up to €50.8 million (+4.6% increase on 2018 performance) with a turnover of €2.1 billion (-20% decrease on 2018 performance).
