The General Fund by
Cardif Lux Vie
The General Fund is an investment vehicle managed by the Company with a capital guarantee gross of administration fees, for the lifetime of the investment, irrespective of market fluctuations. A profit participation may be distributed annually, depending on the performance of the Fund’s assets.
Since 2012, the General Fund has been managed in Luxembourg by Cardif Lux Vie, without a reinsurance treaty with a third-party company or with its parent company.
The Asset Management team at Cardif Lux Vie is composed of experienced managers. They have been operating in the markets for over 10 years and are backed by BNP Paribas Cardif’s support functions (Middle Office, Risk Management, IT and Reporting).

Profit participation : Profit participation consists of increasing the investment’s value free of charge based on the return generated by the management of assets comprising the General Fund’s portfolio.
Average fee rate : Corresponds to the average management fee rate.
Net average return provided to policyholders : Corresponds to the General Fund’s return minus the average fee rate charged by the company.
